Great work on my aircon
” The aircon on my Focus had never worked since I brought the car and due to the warm weather I decided it would be nice to have some cold air in the car. I’d seen aircon ‘re-gassing’ services at places like Halfords but decided to speak to Alan about it and he recommended that if I just have the aircon re-gassed without checking for leaks then I would be wasting my money as the gas would just escape again.
Alan used his specialist equipment to identify a leak in the system and then replaced the part for me and then regassed it and i’ve had working, ice cold air con ever since. (Alan carried out the work 2 months ago).

“I recently noticed juddering on my Ford Focus and when I took it to a ‘reputable’ garage which I had used several times they stated the dual mass flywheel had gone and gave me a quote of £750. I got approximately 5 other garage quotes all even more expensive than this!! A work colleague recommended Alan so I rang him and he gave me a quote which beat all the garage quotes by a significant margin. When he turned up to fit all the new parts he soon noticed it was simply an engine mount bolt had come free causing the engine to vibrate. Despite having purchased a new flywheel, clutch and other items Alan told me straight away and re fitted the bolt etc. he only charged me £40 for all his time. He could have quite easily fitted the new parts and charged me the full price as most garages would have. I have used him for a service since and I would definitely recommend him as he is much cheaper than any garage I have used before!Whoever wrote the single negative review has clearly made this up and must be a competitor!!!!”
